Data Conversion Instructions

Follow the instructions below to complete your data conversion. Please note that conversions can take anywhere from hours to weeks to complete.


Starting your conversion...

  1. Read any instruction that were previously provided to you. In your instructions, you should find your Agency ID as well as the type of data conversion you will use.
  2. Download the Osnium Data Conversion Utility Here and run the downloaded file.
  3. Select Upload Data to be Converted and click OK.
  4. Fill in your contact info, agency info and the type of conversion you will use from the Converting From drop down.
  5. We recommend you write down your Agency ID, Email Address, and Password and store it somewhere secure as you will need this info to download your data.
  6. In the Data Location field, click the ... button and select the folder that contains your database. Please note that all files located in that folder will be securely sent to Osnium Software Inc.
  7. Click I Agree if you agree to send your confidential data to Osnium Software Inc. for the purposes of a data conversion.
  8. Click Send Data and your data will begin transferring.


Finishing your conversion...

The following steps should be performed on the computer that will be your database server

  1. Follow these steps once you have received an email indicating that your conversion is complete.
  2. Download the Osnium Data Conversion Utility Here and run the downloaded file.
  3. Select Download Data that has been Converted and click OK.
  4. Fill in the Agency ID, Email, and Password that you provided when your data was uploaded.
  5. In the Save To field, click the ... button and select a folder where you would like your data to be saved.
  6. Click the Download button. If you receive an error indicating the download is not ready but you received an email indicating it was, please double check the Agency ID, Email, and Password fields.
  7. Once your data is downloaded, please contact your IT department or contact Osnium Software Inc. to assist you in setting up the SQL Server Database.
